CURRENT OPENINGS
ADMIN COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Representing FEMX and our culture!

    • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to members and visitors

    • Maintaining the aesthetic integrity of the office (including, but not limited to the reception area, conference rooms, communal areas, etc.)

    • Ordering all office supplies and maintaining supplies closet organization

    • Ordering groceries and keeping the fridge and snack containers fully stocked

    • Tracking office supplies inventory, ensuring that supplies are fully stocked and keeping budget tracker up to date

    • Processing invoice submissions in a timely manner 

    • Work collaboratively across all departments

    • Assisting with conference room bookings and coordinating calendar changes 

    • Ensure the smooth operations of the office

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-2 years of experience working in an office environment

    • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner 

    • Detail oriented and highly organized 

    • Proactive self-starter with a passion for learning and continuous improvement 

    • Flexible and adaptable

EVENT COORDINATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Representing FEMX and our culture!

    • Coordination, set up and breakdown for internal and external meetings  and events

    • Work collaboratively across all departments

    • Ordering from vendors, coordinating event needs, etc

    • Ensure the smooth operations events. 

    • Assist event party with any needs to ensure top-notch customer service and hospitality

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-2 years of experience working in events

    • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner 

    • Detail oriented and highly organized 

    • Proactive self-starter with a passion for learning and continuous improvement

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT INTERN

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Execute a content strategy for FEMX to tell the story of the mission and our community to our members and fam. 

    • Oversee the editorial guidelines that ensure a consistent brand voice

    • Create and manage the content calendars.

    • Create a program for content capture from events at locations.

    • Manage staff writers and oversee an expanding network of freelance contributors.

    • Collaborate with a cross-functional team 

    • Measure content effectiveness with metrics that establish, validate, and continuously iterate on the content strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2+ years of experience in content development/management. Foundations in journalism, publishing, or media preferred. 

    • Experience growing and engaging social media and community groups preferred

    • Exceptional editorial skills and a deep understanding of how to craft and evolve narratives, guide contributors, and keep creative workstreams on track.

    • An entrepreneurial mindset, including a high tolerance for ambiguity, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias towards action.

    • Innovative and culturally attuned content perspective. Experience as an editor and writer, preferably across various mediums and styles

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

    • Content creation experience

    • You welcome feedback and are accustomed to moving at speed.

    • You possess a journalistic eye and process to evaluate what makes a story a story.

 
MARKETING & PR INTERN

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Ensure a cohesive brand proposition is presented to our customers across digital, community, and social

    • As necessary, create insight-driven creative briefs that inspire emotionally resonant creative work from our team and external partners.

    • Lead strategic conversations around brand strategy, marketing strategy, and execution. 

    • Ensure we are building a quick, empowered, efficient regional marketing program that includes a strong feedback loop. 

    • Lead the overall development of integrated brand marketing plans in conjunction with Communications and other cross-functional partners

    • Own the brand from brand book to the tracking of our brand metrics. 

    • Work with product marketing managers on projects that require strategic framing (value proposition, messaging hierarchy, community insights) to ensure continuity across all of our touchpoints. 

    • Be the champion of our members and mission.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing 

    • Experience delivering results with outstanding verbal, written and storytelling skills

    • Foundational experience in media, marketing, journalism, and/or politics/government is desirable.

    • Outstanding leadership and management skills with a proven track record of inspiring, leading and mentoring a team with a culture of engagement and trust.

    • The capacity to be nimble and flexible. Able to chart the course but openness to adapt in order to achieve goals.

    • Ability to lead through ambiguity.

    • An understanding of how to position others as thought leaders before the media and key stakeholders.

    • Confident and credible in the role with grace, respect and a diplomatic style around navigating goals and relationships with key stakeholders.

    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to understand complex topics and translate it in a meaningful and accessible way to multiple audiences.
