PR SPECIALIST INTERN

Responsibilities

  • Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries

  • Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts

  • Find media opportunities, outreach, and relationship-building

  • Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner

  • Pitch story ideas and content to media

  • Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image

  • Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns

  • Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting

  • Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field preferred

  • 1+ years of experience in public relations or corporate communications

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

  • Strong working knowledge of a variety of public relations programs

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, LinkedIn, HARO

  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations campaigns

 
 
IT TECH & SYSTEMS INTERN

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Representing FEMX and our culture!

    • Providing a warm and welcoming experience to members and visitors through our technology & systems

    • Maintaining the aesthetic integrity and branding even throughout technology

    • Automating processes

    • Email marketing automation

    • Elearning platform development

    • Website backend tasks

    • Webinar/online classes technical support and setup

    • Data analysis 

    • Systems optimization

    • Making tech easy for the team

QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in IT

    • Experience with modern technologies and platforms

    • Tech savvy

    • Organized & great attention to detail

    • Visionary able to foresee challenges and create solutions

    • Teamplayer

    • Prior experience with e-commerce, e-learning, and online companies

    • Not required but we’d prefer candidates who also have experience with websites and apps

    • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a timely and efficient manner 

    • Detail oriented and highly organized 

    • Proactive self-starter with a passion for learning and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies for our online community

  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner and engage on social

  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews

  • Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness

  • Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure brand consistency

  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals, influencers, partners and journalists

  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

  • Build and manage online community and FEMX communities (coworking, university, platform)

  • Nurture community through appreciation details, featured members posts, resources, etc.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a community manager or customer service

  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, FB groups, and writing an email newsletter)

  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events)

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Hands on experience with social media management for brands

  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics

  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask

  • BS In Marketing, Communcations, or related field or last year in college
